Hi, I'm Melvin.
20+ years in banking, seeing from the inside how mortgages, loans and cards are designed.
I've worked in banking for more than 20 years, mostly behind the scenes: analysing how customers behave, designing products and working out their pricing. Mortgages, consumer loans and credit cards have been my day-to-day.
That taught me what almost nobody explains at a bank branch: how a bank sets the interest rate, the fees and the terms, and why a loan that looks cheap can end up expensive.
I started Melvin Finex to put that knowledge on your side of the table: explaining your options calmly, in your language, with nothing to sell.
I work with Spanish speakers in the United States, Latin America and Spain, in English or Spanish.

- MBA · IE Business School.
- CISI Level 3 Certificate in Wealth & Investment Management (Spanish) · Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), United Kingdom, November 2024.
